I’m honored to have been selected as your new principal in December 2023 and VERY proud to be a Garden Valley Falcon! It has been very exciting for me to have spent the last 7 months getting to know you and your children! I look forward to continuing to nurture those relationships as the years go on.

I decided to return to the elementary school world after serving as the Principal and Vice Principal at Twin Rivers Adult School for 5 years. Prior to coming to Twin Rivers in January 2019, I worked in a neighboring district for almost 20 years as an intervention tutor, Substitute Teacher, 2nd grade teacher, Kindergarten teacher and an Elementary and Secondary TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment). No matter the age of the student, my educational philosophy has always been that all students can learn and succeed. They may learn in different ways or at a different pace, but with a safe, nurturing environment, all students can be successful.

At Garden Valley, we welcome parent and guardian involvement during schoolwide events, such as Back to School Night, Parent Conferences, Open House and Science Night, or by attending our School Site Council/ELAC Meetings as a partner or committee member. Our staff is eager to partner with you as we work toward supporting your children as they work toward achieving their academic and social goals. The best way to support your child is to be involved and informed. Don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any questions or concerns.
